Dr. Thomson joined the Henderson State faculty in 1975 as an assistant professor in English, later becoming a senior professor and graduate school dean. In 1988, Dr. Thomson assumed his current position as director of Henderson’s Honors College.
In addition to serving as Director of the Honors College, Dr. Thomson teaches multiple sections of Freshman English-Honors and facilitates both the Honors Seminar and Honors Colloquium. He also serves as the faculty sponsor for the Honors Council, HSU Rotaract Club, and Heart & Key.
