Dr. Atchley is the director of the Master of Liberal Arts Program and specializes in Medieval languages and literautre. He teaches all of the English course offerings from the Classical period through the Renaissance. In addition to these literature courses, Dr. Atchley also teaches all of the modern English language courses–Modern Grammar, English and Its Development, and Introduction to Linguistics. He has published in most of these areas and maintains an active research agenda.
