Students Build Maze, Distribute Candy to Local Children

A number of Honors College students gave back to the community Monday night by building a maze and handing out candy to hundreds of local children as part of the annual Henderson Halloween celebration.

The event takes place inside the Garrison Center on the university campus and allows for area children to trick-or-treat in a safe environment. The halls of Garrison are lined with tables while numerous campus organizations distribute candy.

Candy was collected and donated by members of the Honors College over the past month in preparation for the festivities. In addition to filling trick-or-treaters’ bags, the Honors College continued its tradition of building a maze on the second floor for children to navigate.
